The fact the problems start as soon as you add any instrument plugin. and while yours is not running it is loaded into memory and so again, it's worth trying your system out with it fully removed, just in case.įinally, I suspect if you are using an audio interface, it is that, that is going to be at the root of your issue. This is one of those background apps that again can cause weird problems. but it's worth investigating if nothing else seems to fix things.ģ) I'd also fully Uninstall and remove CleanMyMac3. Im not saying this is the case on your rig. such backup systems can cause issues at times with performance/conflicts. because i have no idea where my data is being stored and how secure their systems are. Apart from the fact that i wouldn't trust any online backup system. Jul 21, 2015, 07:54:52 PM /Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/Logic Pro X_-195452_.hangġ) How do you know this? Which audio interface are you using? I don't see any drivers loaded so this is why I'm asking if you are even using one.Ģ) You are running Backblaze in the background. I know it's not the audio interface, I'm not running any other apps or services that are eating away my CPU and I just removed SoundFlower. No system overload message and Logic just keeps playing.Īnd even with two or three audio channels playing, Logic is eating 35-40% of my CPU. I remove the instrument - audio jumps back in. ![]() Whenever I add ONE instance of any VST instrument, ES1, ES2, Nexus, Omnisphere, Spire, Element, Serum - audio drops out. ![]() This still puzzles me as there is no one plugin that is the culprit either. However, both Omnisphere and Spire seem to clip the dB-meter when the CPU takes a beating. The problem disappears when I remove all instrument plugins. This may help us further troubleshoot the cause of the issue you are having. Launch Logic and load but do not play, a project where you are having this issue. And it didn't matter if LFOtool was on the channel strip I was trying to bounce or not, simply having it in my project, with the settings it had from before - my bounce attempts were either completely empty, or as they were from Omnisphere, literally they couldn't clip more. I disabled it in Plug-in Manager and all of my issues were gone - Logic is using a more acceptable amount of CPU and I'm actually able to browse the project without audio disappearing and bouncing tracks is now possible. For this specific project, LFOtool was the culprit. ![]()
